Together with Chris, our R&D staff, and in-house nutritionist, we've created the first Recovery drinks made with mostly organic ingredients. Unlike other sports drinks, loaded with cheap sweeteners and boastful claims, Clif Shot Recovery contains only ingredients proven to help you recover quickly and effectively. I still manage to find 10-12 hours each week for training, where sports drinks play a critical role for me. Throughout the development process, Chris provided me with each new formulation of the drinks. Carbohydrate: One serving of Clif Shot Recovery gives you 31 grams of carbohydrate to refill the tank.
Protein: You can't rebuild muscle without it, plus it increases carbohydrate re-uptake.
Electrolytes: Replace the Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, and Sodium you just sweated out.
Anti-Oxidants: A, C, E, and Green Tea help reduce the oxidative stress of high intensity activity.
Amino Acids: Glutamine, Arginine, Valine and Isoleucine help boost the immune system and enhance glycogen resynthesis.
The protein in this product is sourced from cows not treated with rBGH. Contents are packed by weight, not volume, and some settling may occur. Made in USA.
Directions
Drink Clif Shot Recovery immediately following activity. Mix with cold water to the proportions below, according to your body weight. Shake well and adjust concentration to desired level. After especially long or intense activity add one extra scoop. Refrigerate any remaining portion. Weight (lbs): -150; Weight (kg) -68; No. of Scoops Suggested: 1 scoop per 8 oz of water.
